7th Anniversary Celebration We celebrated our 7th Anniversary in February 2017
The parents were eager to know more about the sexual health of their adolescents. To get to know more in this area we had an expert for an interactive session with the parents and trainees together.

She discussed the different stages of the physical developmental and the changes in behavior in adolescents. She was surprised by the questions posed by the trainees and the free interactions they had with their parents.

6th Anniversary CelebrationCome January, we celebrate our anniversary. We have Yoga classes for the trainees every Friday and our celebration this time was with a Yoga demonstration by all the trainees.
The Yoga instructors Kavya and Shambhavi divided the children into 6 groups and they performed the Aasanas in groups. The best group received prizes. Individual prizes were also given to Vikram and Athira for best performances. The chief guest Mr. Shivakumar who is a Yoga instructor and industrialist, gave away the prizes. He was very appreciative of the efforts of the trainees and gave them tips on anger management and addressed the parents with ideas to stay peaceful.

Picnic to Miraya Greens

On 28th December 2015, all the trainees and faculty had a refreshing day out at the Miraya Greens, Bannerghatta Road.

As soon as we arrived around 10 a.m., we were treated to a welcome drink, a bottle of water and snacks. Then the fun and activities started with Mr. Rafeeq, taking full charge of the group. They were introduced to all the activity centres and then divided into three groups. The teachers accompanied each group.

One group participated in the military style ropes and bamboo bridges activities

The third group played table tennis and badminton with a lot of enthusiasm

The entire group went for volleyball and cricket after lunch

It was a memorable picnic for everyone. We had a never ending supply of juice,snacks, and water. All the people at Miraya Greens were very caring, hospitable and totally involved in making sure we all had a fun filled day with them.


International Yoga Day 21st June 2015

The trainees participated enthusiastically in celebrating YOGA DAY by performing everything that was taught by the teacher.


5th year annual sports meet on 14/01/15

Nithya Saadhana celebrated its 5th year Annual sports meet, which was arranged at Gandhi Park. Parents were invited for the event. All the trainees from the start of the day were very enthusiastic. We had different games such as running race, relay, French cricket for boys, lemon and spoon and musical chair. Each and every trainee participated in the events. Even parents encouraged them by applauding their efforts.

For this event the chief guest was Mr Mallikarjuna Bommai of TRANSTECH and Mrs.Shubhashree and Mrs.Sushma from VRC. Mr Bommai spoke on the occasion and said he was very impressed by the trainees’ participation. He gave away the prizes to the winners.


Picnic- janapada loka on 19/12/14

Nithya Saadhana organized picnic to Janapada loka on Mysore road. We started off at 10:00 a.m. Janapada loka is one of the interesting places on the outskirts of Bangalore to visit. The exhibits and the explanation by the guides made the day memorable for the trainees as well as staff. These guides even taught our trainees Janapada songs and games. By the time we finished the visit to the museum and playing games it was time for lunch. We had lunch at Kamat Lokaruchi. Here also everyone was exited as different varieties of food that they were being served. They had a fantastic day indeed.


Children’s day celebration

Nithya Saadhana celebrated children’s day on the terrace of the centre. Some of our trainees performed skit on kurukshtra yuddha. Every one enjoyed the play. They played games, had lunch and had a nice time. We were surprised and overjoyed by the performance of the trainees.

Ugadi Celebrations

Our paper bag team Anitha, Kavitha and Rajatha visited Chaitanya for Ugadi celebration on 28th March 2014. We work closely with Chaitanya in their paper cover section. They have an excellent market for the covers in Malleshwaram and our trainees are happy that their product is being used well. All the three girls of the paper cover bags were very excited to go there and see every one doing the paper covers. They had a great time at Chaitanya.

4th Year Sports Day

Nithya Saadhana celebrated its 4th anniversary as sports day at Gandhi Park, Vijayanagar on 17/01/2014. All the trainees participated with lot of enthusiasm.

The events included for the day were Running Race, Lemon and the spoon, balancing the book. The trainees were divided into two groups: juniors and seniors. The chief guests for the day were Mr.M.G.Sathya, Television personality and Mr.S. Ravikanth, Secretary, The Chamarajpet Education Society.

The winners were given the trophies and the medals for first, second and third place respectively. The parents who also actively participated in the event gave away the prizes.


Mrs. Hema Nataraj and Mrs. Beena Krishnamurthy were felicitated by Antahkarana Foundation for their contribution towards training the young adults who are differently abled.

The faculty at NITHYA SAADHANA, Ms. Pushpa Shankar & Ms. Komala K were felicitated at the Teachers’ Day celebration of Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore West. The club honoured teachers who were training persons with special needs.
