PLAN FOR TRAINING IN ELECTRONIC SUB-ASSEMBLY
&
OFFICE ENVIRONMENT BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT
FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED YOUNG ADULTS

Training Period: 6 months training and 3 months as apprentice for production
Working days: Monday to Friday
Timings: 9.30 am – 3.30 pm
Factory training: 3 months as apprentice in the mainstream environment
No. of hours of training: 30 hrs/week for 24 weeks
720 hours
~650 hours (excluding breaks and other holidays)

  • The time taken to master a particular activity will definitely depend on the level of disability
  • In Electronic sub assembly all the areas of a activity may not be mastered by all trainees
  • In functional and general behavioural issues the expected gain in abilities will differ for each trainee depending on the severity of the disability
