Hema Nataraj was the first in the series to receive an award from AMARA SOUDARYA Foundation, online.
This is a series interviews and Awards that recognises the efforts and talents of parents who have moulded differently abled children into talented young individuals.

October 2020

Hema Nataraj was the faculty on the topic of “VOCATIONAL TRAINING” for a unique program conducted by ASHA and ROTARY BANGALORE WEST, an online training program, both in Kannada and English, for 100 participants from all over Karnataka, on AWARENESS ABOUT AUTISM.

November 2020

Another program online was for the DOWN’S SYNDROME association, where Hema Nataraj was the faculty for a session on ‘Job Opportunities for youth with Down’s syndrome’. This session also had more than 50 participants from all over India.

December 2020

Beena Krishnamurthy and Hema Nataraj were resource persons for an online CRE program conducted by RCI. This was for 50 participants in Karnataka. We are honoured to share our knowledge on the BEST PRACTICES in Vocational Rehabilitation – Supported Employment Services.

April 2021

Beena Krishnamurthy was a faculty for one of the sessions of a two year RCI course for “AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS” being conducted online by Information Resource Centre, Bangalore. The topic was “Adult Living” and the participants were given assignments to present about the different options available for Adult Living for persons with ASD in India. All the participants did a good survey and presented with a lot of enthusiasm.
